Gabriella Daris is a London-based art and dance historian, independent curator of visual cultures and writer. She publishes regularly academic essays in the fields of dance, film and contemporary art. She is also a dancer, choreographer and director of installation-based performances and site-specific interventions.

She has studied Classical Ballet at the Royal Academy of Dance; Scuba Diving at the Professional Association of Diving Instructors; Yachtmaster Ocean at the Royal Yachting Association; History of Art, Philosophy and Literature at Goldsmiths College; History of Photography at Christie’s Education; Dance Writing and Criticism at University of Chichester; Social and Ecological Justice at Platform/London School of Economics; Humanities and Cultural Studies at the London Consortium.
